Join us on Wednesday, December 17, 6-9pm to play indie RPG Hometown Holiday!
Hometown Holiday is a one-shot comedy/romance roleplaying game inspired by cheesy Hallmark and Netflix holiday movies. Players will create a character based on common movie tropes and compete to woo their shared love interest (and complete their ~secret~ objectives). This game is beginner-friendly, rules-light, and meant to be inclusive to all!
Welcome to Holly Oak, a small town that is obsessed with the holidays. You are [an uptight corporate worker back in your hometown / a local business owner trying make it through the holidays / a literal holiday spirit], and it’s about time you rediscovered the joy of celebrating wintertime holidays. And maybe as you are [traipsing through Holly Oaks / finding the perfect gifts for your family / trying to recover your memory after a bout of improbable amnesia] you’ll also discover your one true love…
Your Director for the adventure is Monica.
This game is for ages 16+ and players will create characters at the beginning of the session.
