Does your child want to learn how to play Dungeons & Dragons? Why not learn together?
Games of Berkeley's Not-So-Evil Overlord, Erik, will guide you through an introductory D&D adventure. We'll talk about what role-playing games are, go over the basics of how to play D&D, choose pre-prepared characters, and then dive into action on a quest for fortune, glory, and justice!
- This event takes place from 1PM to 5PM on Saturday, November 8th.
- Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early to check in and get settled.
- We'll take a 10-15 minute break about halfway through the session.
Each purchased ticket* is for one child between the ages of 8 and 12 to learn and play along with an accompanying adult parent or guardian. (One adult may accompany up to two children, though each child will require their own ticket.) All materials will be provided, but you are welcome to bring or purchase snacks and drinks.
Erik began playing D&D as a kid, plays currently with his own kids (now grown), and is also an experienced stage performer. He has been host (dungeon master) for several single-session adventures over the years, and has recently specialized in "5-Minute D&D" during off-site events where we exhibit.
