Candlekeep Mysteries: Shemshime's Bedtime Rhyme
Play a two-session Dungeons & Dragons game for 4th level PCs continuing our Candlekeep Mysteries series! Join us Wednesday September 17th and Thursday September 18th from 6-9pm.
An ancient book, long gathering dust on Candlekeep Library's shelves, holds a terrible secret and a curse - and it's just woken up... As the library quarantines the curse, the party must race against time to uncover its secret lest they too succumb to the nightmares of Shemshime!
Shemshime's Bedtime Rhyme is a D&D adventure for 4th level players - participants should create their own PC before the game with the 2024 ruleset, using the Standard Array for Ability Scores and the class's starting equipment. Official sourcebooks are allowed for expanded species and subclass lists; and the DM is available to answer questions on character creation or for use of D&D Beyond sources. (If you've attended a Candlekeep Mysteries game in the past, feel free to bring that character back at 4th level!)
This adventure is limited to ages 16+, and contains themes around ghost possession/loss of control, child endangerment, violence, and horror.
Your DM for this adventure is Colin! Colin is a performer and improv vet of almost 20 years, and loves libraries!
