Dungeons & Dragons Live with KQED Forum

Home/Store/Events & Open Gaming/Dungeons & Dragons Live with KQED Forum

We were honored that KQED Forum asked us to team up and present a special live play event: D&D with KQED -- KQEDnD if you will. We played live on stage at The Commons, KQED Headquarters in SF on Tuesday, January 28th and you can watch all the action!

Check it out HERE.

Our very own Event Coordinator Stacy served as Dungeon Master for an adventure entitled A Barbary Coast Adventure! Our unlikely team of do-gooder vigilantes tried to bring a nugget of justice to a Gold Rush-era, fantasy San Francisco. Secrets, Saloons, and Shipwrecks awaited the audience and our adventurers, as we played the world's greatest role playing game with a little home town flair.

Featured Players:

  • April Walsh – Author of hit RPG Thirsty Sword Lesbians
  • Pollo Del Mar – Local Drag Celeb and Live D&D Player
  • Nat Taylor – Veteran RPG DM
  • Gwendolyn Reza – Co-Owner of Games of Berkeley

Whether you’re a seasoned adventurer or curious newcomer, watch the video to discover how the magic of D&D continues to inspire new generations of players.

---

You might also recall that back in August store co-owner Gwendolyn was a guest on Forum to talk about the 50th anniversary of Dungeons and Dragons, along with guests Brennan Lee Mulligan, Danielle Radford, and Jon Peterson. Here's a LINK if you missed it.
