Cover Art: Denis Beauvais's talent for capturing the essence of fantastic conflict is beautifully pictured in this months' cover, The Antagonists. The eternal struggle of good and evil was brought to life without the use of models or props; the artist's imagination and his brushes were his only tools.

This issue featured the special attraction Thieves: Picking the pockets of the underworld, a collection of 6 articles of interest to those on the wrong side of the law. It also listed the "Gamers' Guide," which was an index of all the advertising in the issue and "TSR Previews," a list of upcoming products from TSR.
