RV1000 CHARMED COTTAGE

Who wouldn’t love spending time inside this “Charmed Cottage” exploring all the nooks and crannies artist Nathanael Mortensen has meticulously rendered! The witch or wizard who lives here has just stepped outside for a moment while their pet dragon naps peacefully and their owl perches on a chair. They’ll be back soon to finish writing in their book of spells. This enchanting scene was completed in the Teams Qualifier Round at the 2025 USA Jigsaw Nationals speed-puzzling competition!

About the Artist: From an early age, Nathanael Mortensen has had a strong love of drawing. After studying graphic design at Southern Oregon University, he became a successful board game designer. Determined to illustrate his own games, he began to learn digital painting in 2015. Today, Nathanael uses a Wacom tablet to illustrate magical board games and puzzles for all to enjoy.
