ABSOLUTE POWER RPG: GAME SCREEN AND ADVENTURE

"Empire City Loves You" is a multi-part introductory scenario for Absolute Power set in 2021. It can accommodate 4-7 characters of average power (100-149 Points, with 100-125 being the recommended range), and will introduce new players to the Sentinel-Earth campaign world. This scenario offers multiple entry points into the story, features a variety of skill and power interactions, and supports varying play styles.

In this paranormal adventure, young superheroes will find their understanding of the world stretched onto a new tapestry. Their perspective of science, technology, and humanity as the apex predator on planet Earth will be tested. This scenario takes place between the margins, unlike the tales of daring-do by brightly-clad spandexed heroes. It unfolds in the dark places, in the cracks between reality, where gifted individuals, talented Others, and incomprehensible things dwell.

In a world where superheroes, aliens, myths, and magic exist, bills still have to get paid (alien invasions be damned), so most people accept there is a world outside of their experience. Superhuman culture is another facet of the life, though, and perspectives range from hero worship to outright fear of those with powers. Human psychology gives this culture as much influence on humanity as the discovery of fire. At least that’s the politically correct perspective. The truth is more interesting.
